DESCRIPTION:Hailing from various parts of Acadia\, New Brunswick\, BAIE is a vibrant French-language pop band featuring Chloé Breault (bass and vocals)\, Matt Boudreau (keyboards\, guitars\, and vocals)\, Marc-André Boudreau (electric guitar and vocals)\, and Maxence Cormier (drums). With its blend of pop\, folk\, funk\, and progressive rock\, the band draws on several styles that could be summed up as “contemporary progressive funk-pop”-a sound that\, in any case\, resonates deeply with anyone who listens. \n\nSince the release of their debut album\, *Grand Bleu*\, in 2022\, produced by Katrine Noël (Les Hay Babies) and Mico Roy (Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire)\, BAIE has been moving crowds at venues and festivals such as the Francos de Montréal\, La Noce\, the FME\, the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée\, the Festif! in Baie-Saint-Paul\, the Phoque Off\, and the Coup de coeur francophone\, not to mention their strong showcases at ROSEQ and the BIS in Nantes. On stage\, audiences are treated to dazzling performances\, infectious grooves\, and touching vocal harmonies-sometimes reminiscent of ABBA or Fleetwood Mac with a contemporary Acadian pop twist\, enough to appeal to all generations. Flamboyant solos included. \n\nToday\, BAIE begins a new chapter with its second full-length album\, *La tête a ses raisons*\, set for release in June 2026. This album draws more deeply on the personal experiences and emotions of the band’s four members\, while remaining true to the nostalgic pop energy that defines them. The 11 tracks oscillate between introspection and lightheartedness\, promising to make you dance as much as they do daydream.\n\nWith this new album\, BAIE continues to blend their influences\, play with sounds and emotions\, and create music that speaks to you as much as it does to them.\n\n** PERFORMANCE IN FRENCH
