SUMMARY:Déjeun'ART
DESCRIPTION:Déjeun’art is a friendly event that invites the entire community to gather over coffee and a muffin to discover an artist’s world. This initiative aims to promote the arts and highlight the work of local creators.\n\nAt this year’s event\, come meet Louise Giroux and immerse yourself in her artistic world. She’ll share her creative process\, her inspirations\, and her career journey with you.\n\nThis event fosters exchanges\, sparks curiosity\, and encourages dialogue between the audience and the artists. \n\nFor more than 25 years\, Louise Giroux has been developing her career as a figurative painter. Landscapes\, still lifes\, and portraits fuel her imagination and form the core of her artistic practice. She is known for her warm\, vibrant palette\, her bold contrasts\, and her balanced compositions\, which reflect a deep pictorial sensibility.\n\nA retired teacher\, Louise continues to pursue her passion and offers classes at the Edmundston Arts Center as well as at her studio at the Maillet Center.\n\nAu fil des ans\, elle obtient la reconnaissance de plusieurs associations professionnelles d’ici et d’ailleurs. Ses oeuvres font partie de collections privées et corporatives.
