DESCRIPTION:The famous musical parody Menopause\, presented by Vitoli\, is coming to Quebec for the very first time! Running for over 15 years in Las Vegas\, triumphing in Paris for the past two years\, and having been applauded by nearly 17 million people in 16 countries\, this festive show takes a hilarious and sincere look at what women experience when they go through menopause. \n\nStarring the talented Guylaine Tanguay\, Claudine Mercier\, Geneviève Charest\, and Catherine Sénart\, and directed by Alexis Pitkevicht\, Ménopause\, la parodie musicale will have you laughing out loud\, but also singing and dancing to parodies of the English-language musical hits of the 60s\, 70s\, and 80s that you love\, humorously adapted into French by the prolific Danièle Lorain. SUMMARY:Damien Robitaille
DESCRIPTION:Active since the turn of the millennium\, Damien Robitaille is as much a spirited songwriter of his own material as he is a skilled interpreter of others’ songs. Originally from the small Franco-Ontarian village of Lafontaine and now based in Montreal\, he is signed to Audiogram and has five albums to his credit\, all marked by his unique\, sensitive sense of humor-which earned him the Félix-Leclerc Award at the Franco de Montréal.\n\nHis most recent project is possibly also his greatest coup: since 2020\, he has been releasing videos of covers of well-known songs in which he layers himself playing all the instruments\, showcasing his talents as a multi-instrumentalist. Like the rest of his work\, it covers a wide range of styles\, it’s invigorating-and it will inevitably influence his future work as a singer-songwriter\, in addition to earning him the Félix Award for Artist of the Year with the Greatest Online Presence at the ADISQ gala in 2021 and 2022. Five years after the release of Bientôt ce sera Noël\, Damien is back with his new album\, Ultraviolet.\n\n** PERFORMANCE IN FRENCH
