VÉRONIQUE OUELLET BOUCHARD, a self-taught artist, was born in Edmundston and is the face behind V-Ro's Art creations. Passionate about drawing and painting from an early age, she thrives on the beauty and possibilities behind any abstract work. She is inspired by bright colours, movements, and textures to create canvases that speak for themselves.
LOUISE GIROUX is a figurative painter who lives in Saint-Basile, NB. Her paintings pay homage to her French Acadian roots and to the essential role of women in our society. Her style emanates the vibrant spirit of the Acadian-Brayon people of Madawaska County. Picturesque landscapes, portraits, still lifes and historical illustrations are brought to life using harmonious colours and solid composition.
