PRESS RELEASE

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Edmundston, NB, Monday, August 18, 2025 – The Centre des arts of Edmundston is proud to present “Au fil du temps” (Over Time), an exhibition by Suzanne Pelletier, which will be held at the Edmundston City Hall Gallery from August 19 to December 19, 2025. A coffee meeting with the artist is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., offering a unique opportunity to meet and talk with the artist.

With “Au fil du temps”, Suzanne invites the public to discover her vibrantly colored world, inspired mainly by flowers and landscapes. Although she draws most of her inspiration from nature, she also explores portraits and still life which take shape with each stroke of her brush.

Since her debut in 1995, this Edmundston artist has participated in various workshops, exploring different mediums and techniques, which has allowed her to develop her style. While she prefers acrylic for its quick drying time, she is also skilled in oil painting, charcoal, and mixed media. Her work reflects a particular sensitivity to nature and detail.

An active member of the Les femmes en art collective since 2019, Suzanne highlights women artists who are often overlooked in art history. In 2023, she joined the Plein air au Jardin group, pursuing her passion for outdoor creation and the celebration of natural landscapes.

This exhibition highlights the beauty of nature and offers an opportunity to discover Suzanne Pelletier’s artistic universe. Through her works, she shares her personal perspective and her interest in what inspires her on a daily basis.
