MUSICAL WEDNESDAYS 40th Anniversary – Lively summer evenings!

Edmundston, N.B., June 11th, 2025 – The Edmundston Centre des arts is proud to unveil the lineup of the 40th anniversary edition of Musical Wednesdays! To mark this special occasion, a series of eight free outdoor concerts will take place every Wednesday at City Hall Square’s Gilles-Guerrette stage, at 7 p.m.

This milestone season will be unforgettable! The Arts’ Centre has prepared a vibrant program highlighting local and provincial talent, offering audiences a rich variety of musical styles – from pop and folk to rock, metal, and jazz.

The season kicks off with jazz fusion/funk/prog group Approche Chromatique from Rimouski, giving audiences a preview of the upcoming Jazz & Blues Festival. They’ll be followed by Cambriolage, led by Edmundston’s own Alexis Rioux, and afterwards, a special evening of singer-songwriters featuring The Silver Fox and Fire’N’Ice.

The lineup continues with local folk/bluegrass group Crooked Rapids, and solo artist Jasmine, who will close out the month of July. In August, accomplished singer-songwriter Matt Boudreau, with four albums to his name, will take the stage. The season will wrap up on a high note with two fan favorites: La Patente, a well-known name on the Acadian and international scene, and The Young Experience, a promising local group of seasoned musicians.

Concerts will be held from July 2 to August 20, 2025, at 7 p.m., on the Gilles-Guerrette stage at City Hall Square (5 Court Street) in Edmundston.

As seating is limited, attendees are strongly encouraged to bring a folding chair.

In the event of rain, shows will be moved to the Centre des art’s venue.
