Edmundston, N.B., Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 — The organizing committee of Pumpkin Day and the Arts and Culture Service of the City of Edmundston invite the public to take part in the 27th edition of Pumpkin Day, which will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Artisan Square.
Fall Market and Festive Atmosphere
This colorful day will bring together more than 50 exhibitors: artists, artisans, creators, and producers offering the public original works, traditional and local products, as well as unique creations—perfect for getting a head start on holiday shopping while supporting the local economy.
In addition to the market, a musical program will animate Artisan Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., highlighting the talent of local artists:

The Biggest Pumpkin Contest
One of the day’s highlights will be the official weigh-in of the largest pumpkin at 2 p.m. As in previous years, results will be certified by the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth, an international organization that ensures fairness and camaraderie among pumpkin competitions worldwide.
Producers who wish to register their pumpkins can do so by Monday, September 22, by writing to: citrouille.edmundston@gmail.com.
Coloris d’automne Symposium
The visual arts symposium “Coloris d’automne” brings together more than 20 local and visiting artists who will showcase their works on September 27 and 28 at Artisan Square. This event offers the public a unique opportunity to discover and rediscover the talent of many artists in a festive atmosphere.
The City of Edmundston is proud to celebrate autumn by offering the community a program that highlights creativity, tradition, and the spirit of togetherness.
