Edmundston, January 24, 2025 — The Edmundston Arts Centre will unveil its Aux Couleurs de ta Créativité artistic programming for Winter 2025 during a special Open House event on Saturday, February 1st, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event will offer the community the opportunity to explore a selection of artistic projects exhibited in the gallery space while also allowing participants to register for inspiring activities featured in the new programming.
Whether you’re looking to explore an artistic technique in depth or engage in creative leisure, the Aux Couleurs de ta Créativité programming offers a diverse selection of adult workshops, covering a wide range of artistic practices such as oil painting, watercolor, silk painting, drawing, Chinese ink, ceramic sculpture, and sewing. Additionally, on the first Saturday of each month, various creative and social activities will be offered, providing everyone with the chance to express themselves and share their passion.
A series of workshops for children is also available, along with special activities during March Break and Creative Saturdays. New this year, Pedagogical Fridays, designed for children aged 8 to 12, will offer a variety of activities during school breaks, including painting, sculpture, textile arts, film, and more.
To enrich the experience for all, we are also offering improvisation sessions, artist meet-and-greets, and cultural evenings.
Don’t miss this unique celebration! Alongside this launch, we are introducing a new initiative in collaboration with the Haut-Saint-Jean Francophone Welcoming Community: the Samedis Café du Monde series—a monthly cultural celebration highlighting the diversity of our region. From February to May, each first Saturday of the month will feature a different country through free artistic activities, specialty coffees prepared by barista Louise Fyfe, music, live performances, and more.
