The Jeunesses Musicales Canada camp is designed for children ages 8 to 11 who want to explore the world of music in a fun and stimulating environment.
No musical experience is required. This beginner-level camp offers a variety of activities such as body percussion, vocal warm-ups, an introduction to percussion instruments, and much more, allowing participants to explore their creativity while having fun.
Throughout the week-long camp, participants will take part in daily music lessons and visual arts activities. Over the course of the week, the children will also work on learning and preparing musical pieces that they will have the opportunity to perform during a short recital at the end of the camp, in front of their families and loved ones.
This camp offers a musical immersion experience at the Arts Centre, right in the heart of downtown Edmundston. Participants will form groups for the week to rehearse pieces and present a short performance.
Please note that this is an advanced-level camp. Participants must already have significant musical experience and be comfortable playing their instrument.
